I've just started listening to the "cooking in the dark," show, and was hoping to be able to downlode the archived files, that say they're in mp3 format, however they just want to play in safari instead of downloading to my hard drive.
Does anyone know how to fix this? This is really beyond frustrating, considering the fact that I would like to be able to download multiple ones and save them for later use, and so far I can't do that, as opposed to windows, that would let me do that, and that doesn't make sense.
Have you tried Pressing Vokeys-Shift-M to bring up the context menu on the link and then click save target as? Also, can you subscribe to this podcast in itunes? If so once the podcast is doenloaded you can go to the itunes folder and move the files.
I actually didn't try the first command, so will give that a try. I found something in the file menu that I thought gave me the same option, but it just saves the safari link and not the file itself.
I had no idea you could subscribe to the podcast itself, sense I just browse the older archives just to see what sounds interesting, how do you do that?
i normally use Itunes to save my podcasts. and then downlode them to my Iphone. it works. fine.
